B. B. & Q. Band (Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens Band) was an American funk and soul band formed in 1981 in New York City. Music producer Jacques Fred Petrus and songwriter wizard Mauro Malavasi founded the band. The group was composed of vocalist Ike Floyd, guitarists Abdul Wali Mohammed and Doc Powell, bassist Paris Ford (also known as Peewee Ford), keyboardist Kevin Nance and drummer Dwayne Perdue. The B.
