"Legends Never Die" is the third studio album by American rapper and singer Juice WRLD and first posthumous project following his death from a drug overdose on December 8, 2019. The title was originally rumored to be named 'The Outsiders' based on a freestyle he did within an Instagram live, but was later confirmed to be Legends Never Die four days before the release. The album was officially released on July 10, 2020, through Grade A Productions and Interscope Records.

The first promotional single for the album was titled “Righteous“ and released in late April 2020. The following month, the label followed with the release of “Tell Me U Luv Me,“ another single with frequent collaborator Trippie Redd.

In the first few weeks of June, Juice’s label teased snippets for multiple tracks such as “Cake,“ “Molly & Mike,“ and “Don’t Understand,“ hinting at their possible releases within the album. However, the only confirmed track was the highly anticipated “Blood on My Jeans“, which was confirmed by Juice’s label manager Lil Bibby when he responded to a fan on Instagram.

Hours after the announcement of the album and cover art, the third single from the album, “Life’s a Mess,” which features Halsey, released and was accompanied by a visualizer featuring performance painter David Garibaldi.

Additionally, Juice’s label dropped a surprise track titled “Come & Go” with producer Marshmello one day prior to the release of the album.

On August 7, 2020, The Weeknd-assisted “Smile“ was released and added as the seventh track on the Legends Never Die tracklist on streaming services.
